Skin Care Knoxville

Y our skin tells a story about your health and lifestyle without saying a word, so it’s essential you give it the attention it deserves.

Also, if you are contemplating ANY method of facial rejuvenation (Botox, fillers, and especially facial surgery), approximately ONE-THIRD of your result comes from optimizing the health and appearance of your skin! Our patients are thrilled to discover all of the rejuvenating skin care services we offer that help to show the world how beautiful and vibrant you are! Take a few minutes to read through all of the fabulous options available to you.

If you’re currently using over-the-counter (or over-the-internet) product such as Rodan & Fields, Lancome, Sephora, or BeautyCounter – excellent! You’ve established the habit of proper skin care and have taken great first steps in improving your skin health! The next step is to transition from these products, which are great as a starter to long-term skin care, to physician-dispensed or prescription products, which can take your skin’s appearance to the next level. If you are currently using SkinMedica products, you can purchase or refill your product HERE .

Anti-Aging (Laxity And Texture)

A customized treatment which improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while providing a smoother skin texture. Chemical treatments address issues of clarity associated with acne, hyperpigmentation and premature aging due to sun exposure resulting in a healthier more vibrant youthful appearance. Typically, 3-4 treatments are required and can be scheduled as frequently as every month. Peeling and flaking from chemical peels varies based on the peel that is performed. This can mean little peeling that lasts for 24-48 hours up to heavy peeling which can last 5-7 days. Our aesthetician can help determine which peel is right for you based on your skin type, goals, and desire for downtime.

A minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which is designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, as well as scars on the face and body (including stretch marks) creating a controlled micro-injury to the skin that induces growth factors and stimulates collagen production. Microneedling requires 3-6 treatments and are usually spaced 4 weeks apart, and are often combined with chemical peels for best results.

This device safely smooths the skin to a predetermined depth based on your skincare needs, your aesthetic goals, and your availability for downtime/recovery. From shallow to deep resurfacing, Contour TRL allows our providers at Trillium to customize the treatments you need. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to precisely apply the exact amount of energy needed to gain the results Knoxville skin care patients desire. Learn More

This was the first and only hybrid fractional laser on the market, the Sciton Halo skin rejuvenation system applies both non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in a single session to effectively target both the upper and lower layers of the skin. This dual approach maximizes results, reduces downtime, and provides a customizable treatment for each patient. Learn more about Halo

The Sciton ProFractional is a state-of-the-art erbium laser that is less intense than conventional ablative lasers and thus causes less damage to surrounding cells and allows for much more effective absorption of healing laser waves. The laser uses microbeam energy to create thousands of microscopic channels in your skin which trigger a powerful healing response. Learn more about ProFractional

We use the Sciton Joule platform to perform ablative laser procedures both in the office and in the operating room. A combination treatment with fractionated laser and a topical laser peel tightens skin and helps even out pigments, resulting in a tightened, brightened look. This treatment typically only needs to be done once, and you can expect 4-7 days of “social” downtime (your face will be a little puffy and pink, which can be covered with makeup after a few days).

If you are not taking care of your skin at home, many of the treatments performed in the office (or in the operating room) will not be nearly as effective or as long-lasting.  We offer a wide array of customized skincare products specially chosen for you that address your skin type, condition, and concerns, as well as help to protect the investment you’ve made in your appearance – whether that is Botox injections, filler, topical resurfacing treatments, or surgery.  The use of professional products will enhance the services you’ve had performed. “Basic” skincare products for all patients over the age of 35 include a sunscreen, a topical vitamin A (tretinoin), and a topical human growth factor. For most patients, we recommend SkinMedica’s Total Defense and Repair sunscreen (tinted is an office favorite), Retinol 0.5, and TNS Essential Serum.  We can help customize a skin-care regimen for you based on your skin type and goals.  Existing patients can purchase their products online here or by clicking the “shop” button at the top of the page.

Hyperpigmentation “Brown Spots”

Sciton BroadBand Light works for skin rejuvenation by gently heating the upper layers of skin through the delivery of light energy to the treatment area. As the heat is absorbed by the skin, the cells create new collagen. Through this process, the skin gradually becomes smoother and younger-looking. Most importantly, though, BBL most effectively treats age spots, sun spots, and skin pigment, giving you a softer, more even skin tone! Learn more

We offer a fantastic array of customized skincare products specially chosen for you that address your skin type, condition, and concerns. These products and treatments work on all skin types (including African American, Asian, and Hispanic skin types).

Rejuvenation (Brightening And Lightening)

Oxy Trio is a customized chemical treatment that is used for correcting and preventing damage caused by oxidative and environmental stress of skin. It acts as a topical antioxidant, which eliminates the oxygen free radicals (which are a significant contributor to aging). OxyTrio stimulates circulation within the skin, drawing oxygen to the skin surface. This helps to promote healing to skin that’s been depleted by toxins, pollutants, allergens, improper diet and solar damage. Acne prone skin also benefits from OxyTrio treatments. OxyTrio may be used between chemical treatments or when exfoliation or flaking is not desired. It draws oxygen to the skin’s surface, producing a rosy flush and a rapid warming sensation, resulting in a radiant, healthy look that lasts up to ten days. OxyTrio is an ideal treatment two to three days before a special event.
